Students

The LIS offers research opportunities for students from variety of fields including engineering, management, business, nursing, medical, and others. These mentor-guided research projects usually provide hands-on experiences with implementation science that complements and expands students' academic training.

We believe, there are essentially two reasons why students undertake research projects at LIS:

  1. They want to advance in their present of future careers.
  2. They enjoy the challenge and satisfaction of excelling in their field of study and generating new research findings.

The LIS also encourages the students to become part of the The IHI Open School for Health Professions, which is an inter-professional educational community that gives students the skills to become change agents in health care improvement. Please check out the IHI Open School for more information.
